No wonder, Google is coming up with strong algorithm updates which are making a lot of difference in the way websites are being optimized for increasing their visibility in search domain.
People are still recovering from Panda and Penguin and trying to find a way to put it right. Now another bomb on the webmasters who believed in exact match domains. Google has come up with an algorithm update which will penalize the exact match domains in Google search results. This update is called "Google EMD update",
Matt Cutts (Google's head of search spam) announced on Twitter that Google is going after "low quality" exact match domains (EMD) to ensure they do not rank well in the Google search results. He also mentioned that this algorithm update only impacts 0.6% of English-US queries.
